Early musical experiments by Soya (Aivaras Onaitis, Vytis Puronas) rapidly spread amongst the fans of electronic music nearly a decade ago. Employing the sounds of Lithuanian analogue synthesizers and robotic vocals the duo defined their unique style positioning themselves between Lithuanian pop and underground music. Later, pausing the studio practice for some years the pair engaged in various projects with other collaborators and delved into vast field of electronic music – from club dance music (Soya Modifed) to wall of guitar sound (The Headandshoulders), from glitch techno (Lumotree) to field recordings and video experiments.
This time the duo returns to the roots of their collaboration under a new name Soy Farm. Their debut album ‘Obsession’ is composed of sounds that once again draw a dynamic line between upbeat synthpop and dark corners of psychedelic electronica. Here is the first only single of albums cover song with incredible obscure Few Nolder and ambientic Lumotree remixes.
